  • Install the software and register a SenderOK account
    Once you register a SenderOK account or log on to the existing one, you will be accepted into the network of trusted senders.

  • Enjoy the features of email management
    After you install the software, SenderOK will start analyzing your Outlook mail database in the background. Once the process of analysis is done, SenderOK will be able to screen your incoming emails and build your Card Box.

What makes SenderOK screen emails effectively?

The SenderOK software, integrated with your mail client and browser, analyzes and ranks your incoming messages by taking into account local and global parameters.
Local parameters derive from your mailing experience. The SenderOK tools analyze your address book and Inbox, and take into account how you treat your incoming emails. The following parameters are analyzed:

  • Whether you read or immediately delete emails sent from a particular sender;

  • Whether you reply to or just read emails from them;

  • How fast you respond to the emails of a given email sender;

  • Whether you forward emails received from particular senders;

  • Whether you have corresponded with the given sender before, etc.

Global parameters are the social metrics vital for determining the importance of "unknown" email addresses, i.e. messages received from people with whom you haven’t corresponded before. Whereas the local database is a great help when sorting emails from "known" senders, it’s impossible to sort incoming emails without external factors when it comes to unknown senders.

First, SenderOK checks whether any of SenderOK users have ever corresponded with the "unknown" sender, no matter if the sender is registered within the SenderOK system or not. Second, SenderOK takes the sender's Network Power score into account.

How do I know about important messages that have arrived in my Inbox?

To make your mailing experience smooth and effective, SenderOK uses a system of notifications to alert you to important messages that have arrived. Three types of alerts guarantee you will view crucial emails in time. The SenderOK notification system offers the following options:

After you installed the SenderOK package on your computer, go to the program settings and uncheck the components you do not want to use.

Can I install SenderOK on several computers?

Yes, you can install as many SenderOK copies as you need, i.e. at work, at home, on your laptop, etc. Once you have created a SenderOK account, you can use your account details every time you install a SenderOK copy at another location. To do this, choose the I’m an existing user option during the registration process. SenderOK will automatically synchronize your user account data with the data on our servers once you launch the software on another computer.

What am I supposed to do after installing SenderOK on my computer?

The first time you launch Outlook 2003/2007 after installing SenderOK, our software will analyze your mail database (this may take from one to ten minutes, depending on the size of your mail database). After the initial analysis is done, SenderOK will be ready to sort your incoming messages according to their importance, and notify you about important messages received.

While the analysis is in progress, feel free to visit the SenderOK website and create your virtual business card and later share it with the people whom you want to keep in touch.

Where do I view the info about a particular email sender?

Information about a sender is displayed within the email messages you receive. When viewing the email contents, you will see the sender’s virtual business card displaying their photo, professional description, and Network Power score. If you click on the sender's business card, the Extended Info Panel will pop up. This panel shows the sender’s name, location, brief professional description, Network Power score, and the list of emails and attachments previously received from the particular sender. Moreover, the Extended Info Panel is an entry point to the sender’s Public business card.

Note: If you receive a message from someone who is not a SenderOK user yet, you will see an empty business card, and will be able to invite this person to SenderOK within a single click.

Does SenderOK move messages from my custom folders?

No way. SenderOK does not change your Outlook email rules. SenderOK assigns a VIP, Important or Routine tag to the messages considered important. You can easily access the tagged messages by using SenderOK folders created in the Favorite Folders section of your Outlook.

What is SenderOK Dashboard?

SenderOK Dashboard is a tool that provides you with the useful, always up-to-date information about your contacts and user profile. With SenderOK Dashboard, you can get an instant snapshot of how your contacts are doing and exchange cards with people you know, e.g. colleagues, former classmates and mutual acquaintances of your contacts.

How do I launch SenderOK Dashboard?

When integrated with your Microsoft Outlook and Internet browser, SenderOK adds the Dashboard button on the Outlook and browser toolbar. Click this button to open the Dashboard.

How do I exchange cards with my email contacts?

Exchanging cards with your contacts is really easy and won’t take you more than a minute. When viewing a message from a person you have not exchanged cards with yet, press the Exchange cards link in the sender's card displayed in the email message. Choose the card type you will share with this contact, and send your request.

You can also ask several contacts to exchange business cards at a time. SenderOK analyzes your mail activities and prepares a list of contacts whom you may wish to exchange cards with. Just launch SenderOK Dashboard and click the Exchange business cards link. In the Exchange business cards window, check contacts to exchange business cards with, and press Send.
