What is a SenderOK online business card?
Your online card is much like an ordinary paper business card and it’s a perfect way to make partner contacts. Aside from your name, company and position it can also contain your contact details and links to your web profiles and web activities, such as LinkedIn, Plaxo, Facebook, Flickr and many others.
How do I share different sets of contact info with different people?
You can do it by configuring four business cards of your own. Go to My Cards > Edit Cards page, the Contact details section, press Edit and enter as much info as you need. By default, no one can view your contact details until you set the sharing rules, i.e. tick particular checkboxes opposite each kind of information.
For example, a standard set of data you will want to share with a potential client would be your business phone, business email address and postal address. Enter these data and then tick checkboxes in the Standard column. During the card exchange select the Standard business card to share with a contact. From this point, your contact will have access to your business phone, business email and postal address and will be notified if you change any contact details mentioned above.
If you want to exchange business cards with a business partner, you will probably share more contact details. Say you fill out your private cell phone and personal email address. Then, for that partner, tick checkboxes opposite business and personal contact data in the Extended column and select the Extended card type during the exchange.
What photo dimensions should I use in my SenderOK business card?
The recommended dimensions for your photo are 76x106 pixels. The maximum file size is 2 MB.
How do I create several business cards?
Go to My Cards, open the Edit Cards page. Here you will see that information you enter is grouped into two major sections: General Information and Contact Details. General information is displayed to any SenderOK user who finds your card in public searches, and is identical in all four business card types. As for your contact information, it will be visible only to those people whom you have chosen to share this info with. So, you add general info about yourself then add contact details, configure the data sharing options and voilà – you have four business cards to fit four different occasions.
Who can see my business cards?
Your Public business card is available to any SenderOK user. We do not recommend that you include any contact information in this type of business card since you will have little control over it. Other types of your business cards are visible only to the people you have exchanged cards with.
Who will know that I have changed contact info in my cards?
Only your SenderOK contacts having access to a specific set of contact data will be notified once you change it. Let's imagine that you have included your business email address and cell phone in your Standard business card. If you update your home address, private phone, cell phone, personal and business email addresses, your contacts who have your Standard business card will be notified about your business email address and cell phone being changed.
Where do I customize my public business card URL?
To create a customized URL for your public business card, log on to your SenderOK account and click the Settings link. Go to the Public business card URL section at the bottom of the page, enter the desired address and save the changes.
