How do I quickly fill my Card Box with the business cards of my contacts?
If you have just joined the SenderOK online service you have plenty of opportunities to start.
First of all, complete your own business card so that we can find your colleagues registered in SenderOK. You can also fill out your previous places of work and study (go to pages Colleagues and Former classmates) so that we can help you to exchang cards with your former classmates and colleagues within a couple of clicks.
Another option is to import your contacts from your webmail address book and send them card exchange requests.
As a last resort, you can use a global search to find future business opportunities or reconnect with people you've lost contact with.
Just visit the Exchange cards section and try any option you like.
I have mistakenly closed someone's business card representing an exchange request. Where do I find it again?
The business cards representing a card exchange requests, that you ignore by clicking the Close button, are automatically moved to Trash. If you have changed your mind about the previously ignored request - go to Trash and restore the card.
How do I quickly sort the list of my contacts?
Hover the pointer on any contact in your Card Box, right click to open the menu and switch between recently added contacts or contacts sorted by name.
How do I quickly find a particular person in my Card Box?
To find a person or a group of people in the list of your contacts, you can use:
- Quick search
- Predefined filters
- Search tags
Quick search is useful when you start your search by entering simple words like position, name or company.
Filters can help you refine the list of presented business cards by a certain criteria. Click the filter image under the quick search field and select one of the filters presented in the list: view business cards recently added to your Card Box, marked as favorites or cards automatically added by the SenderOK software.
Tags are of great help when you systematically classify your connections according to some criteria. Click the filter image under the quick search field and select the Filter by Tag option to view all tags.
How do I ask my contact to update their business card?
Each business card in your Card Box has the Request update link. If you consider any information outdated or missing, feel free to click the link, and in the pop-up window select data you would like your contact to update. Optionally you can add comments explaining what exactly you want to be updated.
How do I share more contact details with a particular contact?
At the bottom of each saved business card in your Card Box, you can find a section displaying the type of a business card you have shared with this contact. If you think that some of your contacts should have another business card of yours containing more or less contact data, click Edit and set the other card type to be shared with this contact.
How do I assign tags to saved business cards?
To assign new tags or modify those already added to a business card, use the same Edit button at the bottom of your contact's business card. In the pop-up window select tags or add additional tags if needed. After you are done press Save.
How do I edit or delete my tags?
Open your Card Box, select any card in the list and click Edit in the I shared section. In the Add tags pop-up window find the Manage tags option. Predefined tags are not editable; custom tags are put into the editable fields. To delete a tag you no longer need, click the delete icon opposite the appropriate tag. After you are done with the custom tags, press Save for changes to take effect.
How do I view the history of changes for my contacts?
Open the business card of a contact and find the History link under the business card. Click the link to view the list of changes in the data shared with you.
